Whether your just looking for a relaxing place to stay in shape and meet other paddlers, or if you are looking to navigate class V rapids on the weekends, Lock 32 is the best place to start. Lock 32 is the only place in the Northeastern US that has controllable water levels for more than 100 days a year.

History

Construction on the park began in 1996 when a local paddler was looking for a close place to practice his skills. His ambition and connections through his job led him to find the spillway of a canal lock and eventually led to the construction of the park.
